MURMUR-MAGS TOP 5 SIBLING SURF DUO’S…

Now this one is really close to my heart. I feel so fortunate to be on this incredible journey of life alongside my big sister Tru and to be quite honest with you I wouldn’t want it any other way! Being able to have Tru by my side through all aspects of life and especially surfing has been the most amazing experience and something I will cherish for the rest of my life. She has been there through the ups and downs, wins and losses, training lows and training highs and for pretty much every single other free surf. She is my forever best friend and I am beyond grateful for her. 

That being said, I know how special it is to have a sibling share a love of something with you so I thought it would be only fitting to shine a very bright light on all the other amazing sibling surf duo’s from around the world. 

THE SHORT SISTERS 

Shyla and Zahlia also known as Shy and Zee are two of the most incredible surfers and humans out. Talented in and out of the water, not only do they shred, they are so talented when it comes to the performing arts. The best of friends, the two sisters are the future of Australian female surfing, with little Keoni not far behind them. Love these girls keep doing you! 

THE KING BROTHERS

Kyuss and Rasmus King have been in and ahead of the game for as long as I remember. These brothers are a pair of seriously talented surfers as well as musicians. They have travelled the world together for years and I’m sure the plan to do so for years to come. Both of them are absolute legends and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. 

THE FIERRO SISTERS 

Hold your horses we have a trio of surf siblings on our hands. Now this is one talented family! Vahine, Heimiti and Kohai Fierro also known as Tahiti’s sweethearts are a trio of seriously talented surfers. All of them roxy girls, these girls surf hard, charge hard and smile even harder. We have had the pleasure of meeting Vahine and hope to one day meet the whole tribe. These girls are beautiful from the inside out and look forward to surfing with them in the near future. 

THE COLAPINTO BROTHERS 

Now this is one that everyone is probably familiar with. Griffin and Crosby both surf way beyond their years. Both of them are so graceful yet technically perfect, there surfing is mesmerizing to watch. The two brothers seem to be always goofing around in and out of the water as you never see them without a smile on their face. Big things are coming for these boys and we are so excited to see them grow. 

THE LUQUE – LIGHTS 

Pacha and Yani are some of the funniest and kindest humans we know. The brother and sister duo are so incredibly talented when it comes to surfing, both are seriously passionate about the world and keeping it clean (as we all should be). Pacha being a talented model and Yani and phenomenal artist the two make for one very unique pair! We absolutely love them and can’t wait to be surfing together again soon! 

We are all so lucky to have each other both in and out of the water. So here’s to all the siblings out there who freaking rock, cause my sister does! Forever riding this wave of life together, you and me forever Boots! Love you.
