COVID-19 has pretty much broken the world in 2020 and surfing around the globe is very different depending on who you talk to. We realised how lucky we are to be living in Australia and to still be able to surf. However, we have so many friends that live all around the world who are not allowed to surf at the moment, so we thought we would catch up with them and find out how they are doing. Leilani McGonagle, professional surfer and olympic hopeful from Costa Rica, gives us an insight on what life is like in Pavones, Costa Rica at the moment and her thoughts on the Olympics next year as well as what she gets up to during isolation (including making spring rolls).
